Product Description
We are engaged in offering a premium quality of Digital Light Fastness Tester. It is to add water easily and ensure a friendly human-computer interface. In addition to this, provided tester can achieve the required irradiation energy with very low power. It is to subject your test samples to intense artificial light to assess the impact on the material. Digital Light Fastness Tester is suitable for all types of textile except photochromic coloured textiles. Provided tester is to work efficiently for any fibre and provides accurate readings.
Key features and operation
-
Light source:
A central, high-intensity artificial light source, such as a 500W Mercury Blinded Tungsten Lamp (MBTL), is used to simulate daylight.
-
Digital display and timer:
A digital display is used to show the test time, and a buzzer often signals when the test is complete.
-
Cooling system:
An integrated water cooling system is essential to prevent the high temperature from the lamp from affecting the test results.
-
Specimen holders:
The tester has holders, often arranged equidistantly around the light source, to hold both the test fabric and the blue wool standards.
-
Blue wool standards:
A set of eight standards (1 to 8) with known resistance to light fading is used for comparison. The light fastness of the fabric is determined by comparing its level of fading to that of the standards.
-
Purpose:
The primary purpose is to determine a textile's resistance to color fading when exposed to light, providing a grade from 1 (poor) to 8 (excellent).
